Halloween Auto Tricks (not Treats)

Halloween Auto Pranks & Tricks to spook your friends

It’s that time of year again where many people get excited for the traditional Halloween Trick or Treat festivities.  Preparing for the day many prepare goodies and gags of all types for their friends.  Keeping that in mind this year we thought we’d share a few of our favorite auto related gags with you.
Arm hanging out of the trunk

This one is fun and relatively easy to accomplish.  All your car needs to be equipped with is a truck (sorry SUV owners).  Hop out to your local Walgreens (or store of that type) and do a once over of their Halloween aisle.  Next to all the candy and witch brooms they usually have a little section of these plastic arms with a plaid shirt.  Purchase one of those and they basically just hook onto the lid of your trunk.  Close your trunk and drive off – now people will think that someone is in there!  Just have a good excuse ready for the police
Backseat Scare

A step above in difficulty as this requires access to the vehicle to complete.  This trick works best on a car that actually has a back seat, say a 4 door truck over a 2 seated coupe.  Find the keys and unlock the car, make sure you put the keys back where you found them once you’re done, otherwise you’ll leave a clue that something might be up.  Find a black sweatshirt, a mask and a skeleton from a Halloween store.  Use the sweatshirt and mask to cover up the skeleton.  Carry that with you out to the car and place it in the backseat as though it were hiding out of walking sight.  Now the fun begins, lock the doors and wait for the driver to come back to the car, when they turn around to back up snap a picture of their facial expression – sure to be a surprised look!
We hope that you enjoyed our couple of spooks & scares of the season.  We hope you put them to good use this year when trying to get your friends on a Halloween Trick!
